On-Premise Contact Center

Running on-premise doesn’t mean running behind.

Keep performing today, and keep your options open for tomorrow. Bucher + Suter designs, operates, and modernizes Cisco on-premise contact centers across Europe.

Built for the work that stays on-premise.

Bucher + Suter brings twenty years of Cisco on-premise contact center experience across regulated, high-volume European environments. We design deployments with current capabilities and clean integrations, on a platform that can evolve with you.

#01

Full omnichannel capability

Voice, email, chat, messaging, and digital channels routed through a single queueing logic. Nothing about staying on-premise requires you to run a voice-only operation.

#02

AI-assisted agent workflows

Real-time transcription, agent answers, and call summarization are now accessible in Cisco on-premise environments through hybrid AI architecture.

#03

Native CRM integration

Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, ServiceNow, SAP, Oracle—the same b+s Connects product line that runs in our cloud and hybrid deployments runs on-premise.

When on-prem is the right choice

On-premise tends to be the right architecture when regulatory, data governance, or operational conditions rule out a cloud tenant, or when an existing investment in Cisco UCCE or PCCE is still delivering value and a full replatform isn't justified by the business case.

If your situation points toward a different platform, a hybrid architecture, or our European private cloud may be a better fit.

Internal risk, procurement, or audit findings prohibit shared-tenant public cloud for customer service.

You have a functioning Cisco UCCE, PCCE, or UCCX with a long operational lifespan remaining.

Network, LOB integrations, or data center investments make phased modernization preferable to full migration.

You seek to add modern capabilities (AI assist, omnichannel, analytics) to your existing platform instead of replacing it.

How we build and operate on-premise platforms.

Cisco continues to invest meaningfully in its on-premise platforms. The Finesse 15 release in 2025 brought enterprise-scale improvements to resilience, certificate management, and cloud-readiness. It confirmed that on-premise customers remain part of Cisco's long-term product roadmap. We work across the full on-premise stack (UCCE, PCCE, UCCX, CVP, Finesse, ICM), and we've designed and tuned deployments at the top end of what the platforms support.

Most of the friction in on-premise contact centers isn't in the platform itself. It's at the seams where the contact center meets the systems around it, including channels and workflows that didn't exist when the original architecture was specified. We build on-premise platforms that operate as part of your service ecosystem rather than a silo.

On-premise environments tend to drift over time. Maintenance windows, Cisco release cycles, internal reorganizations, and ad-hoc operational changes accumulate, and the gap between the platform as designed and the platform as operated widens. We stay involved after delivery, with managed services, platform health reviews, and customer success work. Our goal is to keep performance consistent well beyond go-live.

Proven in regulated, high-stakes European environments.

On-premise today doesn't mean forever.

The same Cisco architecture that runs your UCCE or PCCE environment gives you direct paths to hybrid and cloud when the business case changes. Cisco Flex licensing supports switching operating models without a full technical rebuild. Cloud Connect capabilities in Finesse 15 already let you bring selected cloud services into your on-premise environment today, which means you can adopt specific AI or digital channel capabilities well before any full migration.

When the time is right, we can help you plan a gradual move toward cloud or toward a mixed model through our hybrid platforms and European private cloud options.

On-Prem Contact Center – FAQ

For organizations with sustained regulatory or governance reasons to run in their own data center, yes. Cisco continues to invest in its on-premise platforms, and the 2025 Finesse 15 release confirms that on-premise customers remain part of the product roadmap for the foreseeable future.

Yes. The b+s Connects product line runs in on-premise environments with the same integration depth it offers in cloud and hybrid deployments.

Cisco’s hybrid AI architecture brings capabilities like real-time transcription, agent answers, and automated summarization into on-premise environments through selectively connected cloud services. You get modern AI assistance without moving the underlying platform. More detail is available on our Digital Channels and AI Integration page.

Not as difficult as most organizations expect. Cisco Flex licensing lets you switch operating models without a technical rebuild, and our team has designed and executed dozens of on-premise to cloud or hybrid transitions. The key is planning the move on your own timeline, not a vendor’s.

Our customer success and managed services teams stay involved after delivery. That includes platform health reviews, performance tuning, release planning, and operational support. More details on our customer success page.
