In Memoriam: Daniel “Dani” Suter (1952-2025)
We are deeply saddened to share that our founder, Daniel “Dani” Suter, passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 73. His presence, his curiosity, and his care shaped our company and the wider Noser Group for decades.
1981-1995: How we began
In 1981, Dani co-founded Bucher + Suter with Matthias Bucher and Hansruedi Scheidegger. We started in robotics and software engineering, and from the beginning, he set our rhythm: build with precision, learn fast, and put people first.
1995-2005: A home within the Noser Group
In 1995, we became part of the Noser Group, an opportunity Dani championed to scale while protecting the craft that defined our early years. In 1996, our holiday dinner fit around a single table for nine people; that closeness and care still guide us. In the late 1990s, Dani set our course toward Cisco, now a cornerstone of who we are as we have grown from early IP contact centers to today’s cloud CX solutions.
2006 onward: Leadership and stewardship
After 25 years as CEO, Dani became chair of our board in 2006 and entrusted day-to-day leadership to Andreas Stuber and to our current CEO, Martin Wüthrich. He never lost touch with the work, encouraging teams, setting clear expectations, and giving people room to succeed.
Building the Group
Dani helped bring AKROS into the Group and helped guide the journey that saw Sohard AG become DANEXiS. He championed Noser Young from its founding in 2015, driven by a belief in opening doors for young people in IT and helping them grow with confidence.
Milestones that mattered
In 2021, the Noser Group came together under one roof at the Lindenpark in Worblaufen, a long-held vision that deeply moved him. Until 2023, he served on the boards of DANEXiS and Noser Young and contributed to Group governance. After more than 40 years of service, he retired that year but remained a generous, trusted presence.

Later years and farewell
As recently as June 2025, Dani joined us at the leadership handover at AKROS, engaged, supportive, and proud of the Group’s evolution. We said goodbye on October 4, 2025.
What we will carry on
Dani was an innovator and a mentor who believed we honor the past by building the future. We hold his wife, his family, and everyone who knew him in our thoughts. His influence runs through our people, our customers, and the solutions we create. We are grateful for the time we had with him, and we will continue to build in his spirit.
