Define the Screen Pop & Softphone

  1. From setup, enter Call Center in the Quick Find box and select Softphone Layouts
  2. Make sure a default softphone layout exists – if not, select New

Installation Tutorial

Agent Experience – Call Center

  1. From setup, enter Call Center in the quick find box and select Call Centers
  2. This step is not required to start and may include advanced configuration. Please proceed to the next step if this is not required at this time
  3. Stay in your call center template and select Manage Call Center Users
 

Agent Experience – Assign License

  1. From Setup, enter installed packages in the quick find box and select installed packages
  2. Select managing licenses
  3. Select “add users”, find and select desired users
  4. Select “Add” to save
 

Agent Experience – Defining Lightning Agent Desktop

  1. From Setup, enter App Manager in the Quick Find box and select App Manager
  2. Find the desired Salesforce Lighting App
  3. Select Edit
  4. In the Lightning App Builder, select Utility Bar
  5. Select Add
  6. Search for CTI
  7. Click Open CTI Softphone to add the utility to the Lightning app
  8. Update the label to b+s Connects
  9. From the App Launcher, select the previously assigned app
  10. Verify that the Connects for Salesforce gadget loads
